This June the world’s largest sporting event will kick off in Säo Paulo, Brazil. The FIFA 2014 World Cup will pit 32 nations against each other to compete for the ultimate prize in the wide world of sports.
In a month’s time one victorious nation will lift the fabled golden statue in front of 96,000 spectators and billions of television viewers. But what if the World Cup was based not solely on footballing prowess but oil reserves too?
