Peter Geijtenbeek - Industry Bio

Mr. Peter Geijtenbeek is the International Sales Director at FOX-IT.

Peter has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry. For the last 15 years his focus has been towards the IT Security sector. Mr. Geijtenbeek has held various Senior Director positions at Symantec and Tripwire, which included living abroad in Austria, Poland and Hungary, opportunities also adding to his experience and knowhow.

His past positions have given him the opportunity to meet and confer with IT-leaders from various industries, giving him an in-depth understanding of trends in the Security industry. At Tripwire, Mr. Geijtenbeek held the position of Sales Director EMEA. His focus was on Vulnerability Management and Compliance solutions. He there became involved and worked closely with Oil companies such as Shell, OMV and Euramco.

As of January 2014 Mr. Geijtenbeek has joined Fox-IT as the International Sales Director, where he is responsible for the worldwide sales organisation. In his current role part of his responsibilities involve, working together with large SCADA suppliers such as Honeywell and Yokogawa, to council companies that are facing challenges in protecting their OT environment against all kinds of cyber-attacks.

Mr. Geytenbeek has an MBA from Business Schools the Netherlands and is currently studying for his PhD.
