They say ‘Fail to plan? Then plan to fail’…in an emergency this could mean the difference between life and death. An effective emergency management plan is hence required to ensure everyone’s safety, and furthermore, the success of this plan relies on everyone following the same plan!

IQPC is proud to bring you this on-demand webinar which will explore, session-by-session each discussion area of the Emergency Response Planning (ERP) Masterclass.

John Sleigh, your facilitator, will deliver an engaging presentation, titled; Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Recovery: Moving your mine site from compliant to resilient.

  • Prevention is dealt with through the hierarchy of risk controls – Elimination, Substitution, Engineering, Administration, Personal protection and awareness.
  • Preparedness looks at the level of response that is needed based on risk of severity of injury and time before the casualty reaches treatment.
  • Response looks at the communication requirements and duty cards system.
  • Recovery will be explored with relation to business continuity

This COMPLIMENTARY webinar will demonstrate the true business value of the Emergency Response Planning and Communications Masterclass, by giving you a comprehensive snapshot of the learning outcomes, key drivers, and topic areas which the Masterclass will cover.
