Joe Asamoah

Joe Asamoah is a consultant in the Oil and Gas Industry, Environment, Energy and the CDM. He received his Ph.D from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. In 1998, he received an International Award of Professor Thomas Kuhn–“Hopes for the Future for a Sustainable World”–under the auspices of the International Academy of Science and the IUAPPA for his sterling work in energy and the environment. Dr Asamoah is a prolific writer with over 50 papers and articles and four books to his credit.

It is difficult to find oil success stories in sub-Saharan Africa. The economies of major oil producing countries like Nigeria, Angola, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea have performed rather dismally.
