Dr. Shah Jahan is a Senior Lecturer in Caledonian College of Engineering, Oman. She completed her Masters in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. She has 161/2 years of teaching experience. She finished her PhD in 2015 on seawater composition analysis and its effect on corrosion of metals. She is involved in research related to corrosion through her final year project students at the undergraduate level. Her area of interest is in waste water treatment and corrosion inhibition. She has published technical papers in various journals and conferences related to these areas.

Evaluating the effect and compatibility of chemical inhibitors through measuring the corrosion rate and therefore the benefits obtained in the above research study
