Murali R V is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering of Caledonian College of Engineering, Oman. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering (with Manufacturing as specialization) from National Institute of Technology (NIT), India in the year 2012. Corrosion has become his research area in recent times after realizing the impact of corrosion and its prominence in industries. He since then started guiding projects on corrosion mechanisms, controlling methods including various types of coatings etc at undergraduate level of engineering programmes. He has published a number of technical papers in repute journals and conferences related to his specialization.
