PREVENTING PLANT TURNAROUND FAILURE
With companies being extremely stringent on maintenance and shutdown budgets, preventing a turnaround failure is possibly the most critical aspect that can help save costs. Operators, TAR contractors and vendors need to collectively own any turnaround activity and work towards avoiding failures. Emergency shutdowns need to be managed head-on as the consequence of a failure of a turnaround can be higher than the actual turnaround itself. This session will help operators on some of the best global practices in choosing teams and assigning them for shutdowns and turnarounds.
8:00 am - 9:00 am
- Learn about improving the operator-contractor relationship and how this can help in avoiding failure of a turnaround
- Ensuring you implement a quality assurance programme to avoid consequences of failure
- Building a strong and capable team of turnaround professionals and involving routine maintenance, inspection, operations and HSE departments
