Zero Harm and Organisational Culture In The Oil & Gas Industry

Oil and gas companies are finding it increasingly important to ensure that their approach to process safety is no longer completely focused on workplace hazards; but the workplace systems and the role of decision makers and management.

Ahead of the Process Safety Management Forum, Jared Haube spoker with one of Australia’s most
respected experts in OHS legislation, Mr Barry Sherriff, Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Mr Sherriff was a member of a three-person panel tasked with providing recommendations to federal, state and territory governments on a model OHS Act for all jurisdictions. The panel’s recommendations provided the basis of the
model Work Health and Safety Act.
