Join over 500 industrial and manufacturing leaders and learn how to leverage digital twins to reduce costs, resource use and your carbon footprint.

The benefits of digital twins are numerous - from lowering operating costs to accelerating production to reducing safety risks. But many are saying that their most significant benefit could be how they can accelerate decarbonization and sustainability. According to a report by Accenture,  digital twins "can deliver up to $1.3 trillion of economic value and 7.5 Gt CO2e emissions reductions between now and 2030."

Join over 500 industrial and manufacturing leaders online on May 17 and learn how to:

  • Build sustainability into your digital transformation agenda
  • Use digital twins to reduce regulatory and HSE risk
  • Identify digital twin uses cases (and constraints!) across your organization
  • Enhance energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of your operations
  • Deliver a proactive view of operational risk
  • Get the most ROI from your digital twin projects: Where to generate the most value
  • Leverage digital twins to design, test, and model disruptive new sustainable products and processes - in record time
  • Provide your frontline decision makers with the crucial data they need, in the right context, when they need it
  • Understand the technology options: where to begin

Accelerating Sustainability with Process Digital Twins
Process engineers face a critical challenge presented by climate change to improve our current plants and design new plants for the decarbonization of our industries. It has taken us about one century of evolutionarily improvements achieve our current generation of chemical processes. We must multiply this rate of development quickly to design, build, and operate the next generation of sustainable plants.
AVEVA™ Process Simulation is a new tool that accelerates process engineering through ease of use, collaboration with other engineering disciplines, and models to assess a plant's carbon footprint and simulate new "green" processes to form an Engineering Digital Twin. Furthermore, the simulation can later be used to monitor the plants greenhouse gas emissions through a real time PI System connection to form an Operating Digital Twin.
This presentation discusses the Engineering Digital Twin to accelerate process engineering, the Operating Digital Twin to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and the specific modeling tools for sustainability in AVEVA Process Simulation.
Cal Depew – Product Director, Simulation and Modeling - AVEVA

The Role of Digital Twins in Accelerating Decarbonization and Sustainability
It is forecasted that Digital Twins will achieve 7.5 Gt CO2e emissions reductions globally by 2030. How can companies use Digital Twins to achieve their decarbonisation goals and the path to net-zero emissions? How can you bridge the gap between where you are and where you need to be from a carbon emissions perspective? An overview of obstacles such as user adoption and future regulations.
