Richard Mora

Richard Mora is a Lead Industrial Network Engineer at Chevron with over 12 years of experience designing and deploying industrial network and RF infrastructure across upstream and manufacturing operations. He specializes in SCADA and PCN environments, SD-WAN, wireless and microwave systems, fiber architectures, and IIoT connectivity that enable safe and reliable field operations. He has standardized network architectures supporting more than 700 facilities across the Delaware and Midland Basins, improving operational consistency, uptime, and cost efficiency. Richard has led large-scale tower infrastructure initiatives, delivered highly resilient microwave backbones, and implemented hybrid connectivity solutions to strengthen network reliability in high production environments. In addition to his technical leadership, he mentors engineers pursuing advanced networking certifications and promotes collaboration across IT and OT teams. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Houston and is passionate about advancing connected worker capabilities in the energy sector.
