Doug Peacock is a Technical Director with GaffneyCline energy advisory and is widely recognised as one of the industry's leading experts in petroleum reserves and resources evaluation. With more than 40 years of experience in geology, reservoir modelling, field development planning, and reserves assessment, he has advised on projects worldwide, conducted independent audits and expert witness assignments, and played a key role in the development and application of the SPE Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS).

Doug served on the SPE Oil & Gas Reserves Committee during preparation of the 2018 PRMS update, was an SPE Distinguished Lecturer on reserves and resources, and continues to deliver reserves and resources training internationally. His expertise spans conventional and unconventional reservoirs, acquisitions and divestments, unitisation, reserves assurance, and emerging CCS resource management frameworks.
