Fauzi is a Senior Research Analyst focusing on research insights and advisory for project developers, investors, regulators on carbon management and carbon storage in Asia Pacific. Fauzi regularly engages with energy executives and government representatives to discuss market strategies and opportunities. His insights are focused on investment outlooks, market analysis, project valuations, policies and regulations in the region. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Fauzi worked at Shell as a JV Representative, Subsurface Team Lead, Geoscientist, and Drilling Engineer responsible for subsurface research and development plans, joint-venture operations in Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, and United States of America. Fauzi graduated with a BSc. (Hons) in Geology with Geophysics from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He is a 2025 Young Leaders Fellow at the ASEAN-Australia Centre. He is a keen golfer, and a social tennis and padel player.
