Dr. Sayak Roy is a chemical and energy-industry professional with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stuttgart, Germany, and an academic background at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India. He has extensive experience in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), specialty chemicals, and technology commercialization. He currently serves as Regional Business Development Manager, Asia, at SNF, where he leads technical and commercial development of chemical EOR solutions across the region.

With a career spanning research, technology development, and business development, Sayak has worked closely with major oil and gas operators on polymer flooding, surfactant-polymer processes, foam EOR, and emerging CCUS applications. His experience bridges laboratory innovation and field implementation, with a focus on translating advanced chemical technologies into practical solutions for improved recovery and efficient reservoir management.
