Ts Santa Kumar Teaga Rajan

Ts. Santa Kumar Teaga Rajan comes with over 20 years of experience spanning asset promotion, subsurface management, petroleum engineering operations, technology innovation, and strategic business development across the global upstream sector. He currently serves as Asset Promotion & Marketing Manager at Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), PETRONAS.

Previously, he served as Subsurface Manager at PETRONAS Carigali, overseeing one of Southeast Asia's largest Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) developments and leading high-profile, multi-million-dollar exploration and appraisal reservoir characterisation campaigns. He was also a key contributor to the landmark Megah-1 ultra-deepwater well testing campaign and discovery offshore Sabah, one of Malaysia's most significant recent exploration achievements.

Ts. Santa Kumar has international working experience across Qatar, Norway, France, Australia and many other countries, collaborating with global operators, technology providers, and industry stakeholders on strategic business and operational initiatives. Throughout his career, he has championed and deployed several first-in-the-world and industry-leading technologies, driving operational excellence, enhancing subsurface evaluation capabilities, and supporting the industry's sustainability ambitions.

He is the Program Chairperson of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Kuala Lumpur Section (SPEKL), a published SPE author and speaker, and serves as an Industry Advisor at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). He is a passionate advocate for technology innovation, sustainability, and talent development within the energy industry.
