Preston Johnson is Business Development Leader at Cutsforth, Inc. with a focus on condition monitoring predictive maintenance and reliability consulting. Preston builds on 28 years in industrial instrumentation and machine condition monitoring systems at National Instruments, 4 years at Allied Reliability building predictive maintenance programs with digital technologies, 4 years at CB Technologies connecting Information Technologies to Operational Technologies for reliability, predictive maintenance, and sustainability business goals; and a short project with Novity, Inc where he led the delivery and implementation of its predictive maintenance software.

Preston draws from his broad functional background in people and project management, technical and domain expertise in asset monitoring applications, and business development to create and implement comprehensive business strategies for new product development, market introduction, and growth. He works collaboratively with vendor business development and plant operations teams to deploy condition monitoring systems and services, reliability solutions, training, and hardware/software systems that improve machinery uptime, reliability, sustainability, and ultimately, production capacity. Preston has held roles in Applications Engineering, Field Sales, Sales Management, Product Management, and Business Development. Preston maintains his Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certificate, and his Vibration Category III (VCAT III) certificate.
