He drives strategic initiatives that catalyse the energy transition in international shipping by using ammonia as a marine fuel, forging key partnerships and delivering first-of-their-kind projects that advance maritime decarbonisation.
A seasoned sustainability professional and recognised leader in maritime decarbonisation, Ashish specialises in developing global supply chains for alternative marine fuels. With a robust background in engineering and business development, he has played a pivotal role in establishing LNG and ammonia bunkering ecosystems and in developing low-carbon marine bunkering solutions.
Throughout his career, Ashish has held key positions across major classification societies and shipyards, leading decarbonisation initiatives and designing strategic frameworks that enable practical adoption of cleaner technologies. He is a strong advocate for holistic, collaborative approaches that overcome industry barriers and accelerate the transition to sustainable shipping.
Ashish holds an MBA in Maritime Operations and a Master's in Technology Management. He also possesses specialised certifications in carbon footprinting, circular economy, and sustainability strategies.
In addition to his professional work, Ashish actively contributes to the development of industry standards and solutions. He participates in various technical committees focused on maritime energy transition, underscoring his commitment to translating high-level climate goals into actionable, safe, and scalable maritime practices.
