Mahua Mitra is leading the Asia Pacific marine fuels coverage at Argus Media, with over 13 years of experience managing and leading coverage across energy and commodity markets in Asia. She has built and led editorial desks in sectors including petrochemicals and bitumen, developing market-leading benchmarks and high-performing teams.

She currently focuses on marine fuels, leading coverage of price discovery in the maritime energy transition across both conventional and alternative fuels, including biofuels, LNG, ammonia, and methanol. Based in Singapore, she engages closely with stakeholders across the value chain, including shipowners, fuel producers, ports, traders, and policymakers.

Mahua brings a strong market-led perspective to maritime decarbonisation, with a particular interest in how pricing, demand signals, and commercial structures will enable the scaling of clean fuels.
