Ian Achterkirch is the Senior Director, Strategic Client Group at Wolters Kluwer Enablon, where he leads enterprise-level initiatives that help organizations leverage technology to navigate complex operational and regulatory landscapes. With over 20 years of experience in operational risk, environmental, health, safety, and sustainability (EHS&S) software and consulting, Ian brings a unique perspective on how shifting workforce dynamics—such as talent mobility, generational change, and digital transformation—impact operational and project risk.

Ian has previously held leadership roles at Arcadis, ERM, IHS Markit and Accenture, consistently driving innovation and client success across global markets. His strategic insights have helped Fortune 500 companies adapt to evolving workforce trends while maintaining operational resilience.

A graduate of St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, Ian is also a passionate advocate for education and community development, having previously served on the board of Cypress Christian School in Texas.
