Sudhakar Virupakshi - SV currently serves as Chief information Officer - CIO for Buckeye Partners. 

Sudhakar brings to Buckeye over 20+ years of comprehensive technology and business knowledge from multiple industries, domains, and continents. Sudhakar had previously served as ELT & CIO at Par Pacific Holdings and prior to that he had served as Vice President of IT at HollyFrontierSinclair Corp and previously had various leadership roles at Tesoro/Marathon Petroleum.   This vast experience along with his real-world perspectives on best practices and intimate knowledge of systems, data, and processes has helped him lead business transformations that are secure, scalable, and sustainable and help transform Businesses to a New Digital Age, He believes technology is a core capability to help organization achieve its over goals and progress in today’s Complex and Competitive environment.  He also continues to serve as an advisory board member to multiple organizations and serves as co-chair for the Houston Chief Information Officer community to help share technology best practices with peers and the community. Sudhakar has an MBA from Bangalore University and executive education from Stanford and MIT.
