Galveston LNG Bunker Port (GLBP) is a joint venture between Navergy Infrastructure Partners and Seapath Group. The LNG bunker terminal is a fully permitted, shovel-ready project on Shoal Point in Texas City, Galveston County, Texas, to serve the greater Houston-Galveston port complex. GLBP will supply conventional LNG, renewable bio-LNG, and synthetic e-LNG by Jones Act compliant bunker vessel to LNG-powered vessels calling at Port Houston, the Port of Galveston, the Port of Texas City, and the Galveston Offshore Lightering Area. The facility is being developed in two phases with a capacity of approximately 400,000 tons per year and 22,000 m³ of LNG storage. Operations are projected to commence in 2029.
