Evert is General Manager for Allseas Marine Contractors Australia with over 30 years' experience in offshore construction work. Coming from a 6 years Perth based project management role in greenfield developments, both pipe lay and platform installation (North Rankin B) he moved into decommissioning in the North Sea region in 2016. For Allseas, Evert first managed the removal of the iconic Shell Brent Delta platform with Pioneering Spirit. He continued his role on the successful Brent Bravo and Brent Alpha topsides and the Ninian North topsides removal campaigns after this. After that Evert worked on the removal of mega topsides Brent Charlie and Repsol Gyda topsides, jacket and conductors, all located in the Northern North Sea, before moving back to Australia in 2022. Evert is currently General Manager for Allseas with focus on offshore installation and end of life platform removal, load in and disposal support and expertise. Evert currently also has the role of Project Director for the Allseas removal scope of the Woodside Gippsland Decommissioning project.
