General Manager Centre of Decommissioning Australia (CODA)Rean Gilbert is a highly experienced environmental and regulatory leader with more than 25 years' experience across the energy, marine and government sectors. In her role as General Manager of the Centre of Decommissioning Australia (CODA), Rean works across industry, government, regulators, research organisations and the supply chain to support the safe, efficient and environmentally responsible development of Australia's decommissioning industry. Rean has held senior roles across industry and government, including with NOPSEMA, the Western Australian Government and the consulting sector.
She brings particular expertise in offshore decommissioning, environmental regulation, marine pollution and emergency management and has extensive experience working at the interface between regulators and industry.
