Amit Kumar
Research Program Manager, Exploration AI, Technology and Engineering ExxonMobilAmit Kumar joined ExxonMobil in 2013 and is currently the Exploration AI Research Program Manager. His work at ExxonMobil over the years has focused on the application of AI/ML and physics-based simulations across a variety of upstream domains, including Exploration, Drilling and Completions, and Production Operations. Amit holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Subsequently, he worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
