Rahul Verma is the Director of Technology at SynMax. He was one of SynMax’s early hires, following previous job roles as a data scientist in the energy sector. He made several foundational contributions to both of SynMax’s flagship products - Hyperion and Theia, building out time series, computer vision and now agentic models, and the architecture to deploy them at scale.
Rahul has a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. He has nearly a decade of experience implementing machine learning solutions throughout the energy sector value chain—from downstream refining to upstream production, reservoir management, and geoscience applications.
