Rob King is an organizational transformation executive and trusted advisor with more than 25 years of experience helping large, complex organizations translate strategy into measurable business outcomes through data, technology, and AI. A three-time Chief Data Officer, Rob has led enterprise-scale modernization, governance, and analytics initiatives across both the private and federal sectors.

Before transitioning to the private sector in 2025, Rob served as Chief Data Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy and previously at the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration, while also holding concurrent roles as Chief AI Officer and Geospatial Information Officer. Across his career, he has overseen more than $100 million in investments and delivered hundreds of millions of dollars in realized business value.

Today, Rob advises executives and boards on data-driven transformation, responsible AI adoption, and operating-model modernization.
