Harly Penner is the Director of Fleet Engineering & Vessel Development responsible for a new vessel build program which consists of four state-of-the-art 150m LNG / Hybrid RO-RO vessels which operate in Canada. Harly is responsible for the Seaspan LNG development program and is an experienced Marine Operations Professional and Marine Engineer and with more than 15 years of experience in the maritime industry in a range of roles. He has hands-on experience working on onboard various vessels including ice breakers in the pacific region and was responsible for the oversight of installation and commissioning of complex marine systems which were designed and manufactured by a Canadian marine engineering firm and exported globally. Harly holds an M.B.A specializing in Maritime Business and Logistics Management from the University of Tasmania and a Bachelor of Science in Nautical Sciences/Marine Engineering from the University of Cape Breton.
