2025 LNG Bunkering North America -US Post-Election Shifts: What’s Next for Global LNG Supply?

Check out the article and access insights into:

  • Post-election regulatory policy will be central to determining the pace of LNG project approvals, export permits, and domestic shipbuilding capacity
  • US LNG infrastructure constraints - from yard limitations to bunker vessel shortages - are slowing global supply momentum, despite high demand
  • LNG’s global role is strengthening, but short-term domestic uncertainty in the US may delay or reshape investments
  • The promise of Bio-LNG is real, but without federal standards or end-customer demand, the market remains commercially immature in the US
  • Long-term contracts are now the norm, but shipowners face challenges aligning multi-year deals with uncertain regulatory or fuel pathways
  • Global LNG players must plan now, as capacity bottlenecks and political cycles continue to squeeze timelines and drive up costs

LNG Bunkering North America Summit 2025 Agenda | Sponsorship

While we work on preparing our new program for 2025, please take a look at the first cut of the draft agenda.

We are at a critical point in understanding the future of the LNG pathway in maritime. With a new US administration signalling that LNG is a priority, but really bringing about great uncertainty as to what this means for the industry, and at the same time IMO global regulations being set out to not necessarily favour LNG, the summit is needed to discuss the preparations the industry must make together, and understand truly how LNG can be used in the future and companies can be compliant. Also, as shipbuilding faces new pressure and bunkering infrastructure lags, urgent questions remain around fuel strategy, compliance, and supply chain readiness.

We hope to see you there to join the discussion!
