Deana Werkowitch is the Vice
President of Business Process Optimization at Crestwood Equity Partners LP, a
publicly-traded energy midstream company. Deana is responsible for
delivering end-to-end operational and process efficiencies and technology improvements
across the organization. She provides leadership and strategic oversight
promoting a collaborative and continuous improvement culture bringing
innovation and new possibilities to the employees at Crestwood.
Deana has been in the
energy industry for 20 years and has a relentless passion for utilizing an ‘art
of the possible’ mindset turning challenges into opportunities resulting in
organizational success. Deana’s career began at Koch Industries, Aquila,
and consulting for domestic and global companies. She served various
roles in commodity trading, cross-commodity analysis and implementing and
integrating systems and realigning functions to deliver valuable results that
increase operational value. As a leader, she created and designed an IT
department that drove strategic value by partnering with operational functions
at Lansing Trade Group, an agricultural product trading company. At
Crestwood, she developed a commercial systems support team leading a system
transformation for its marketing operations. She is also a driving force
in creating a partnership between the business leaders, blurring the lines
between operations and information technology resulting in a trusting and
collaborative partnership focusing on extracting the full value of the platform
by putting people first
