Pre-Conference Workshop Day - November 4

1:15 PM What’s Old is Now New: Re-Examining Project Execution Risk Assessment

The evolving nature of workforces and the changing risk landscape present new challenges for project execution. Historically, Improvement Engineers had over a decade of experience, but today, many are hired directly from college. Frequent team turnover and reliance on EPC contractors facing similar workforce issues further complicate matters. This, coupled with the changing landscape, renders traditional risk assessment templates ineffective.

These unmitigated risks are increasingly causing project failures, leading to delays, cost overruns, and other negative outcomes. Something needs to change. This workshop will deep dive into the current risk assessment processes and the updates required to adapt to these new realities and ensure successful project execution.
