Joe Nichols leads product strategy for Hexagon's Operate Portfolio, driving the vision and execution across Enterprise Asset, Performance, & Quality Management, Alarm Management, Operations Optimization, and Cyber Security product lines. He is responsible for advancing a modern, data and AI driven product portfolio that helps asset intensive industries maximize performance, resilience, and operational execution at scale. With three decades of experience shaping enterprise asset and operations management solutions, Joe has built and led global product organizations that deliver measurable business outcomes—improving asset utilization, strengthening operational reliability, and reducing risk across complex operations. Prior to Octave, Joe co founded Itus Digital, where he pioneered AI native solutions for asset strategy optimization. He previously served as COO and VP of Product Strategy at GE Digital following its acquisition of Meridium, where he spent over 20 years defining and scaling the Asset Performance Management market through multiple senior leadership roles.
