Tanya currently serves as the Vice President of Commercial Operations Americas, Houston, TX USA. In this role and through collaboration within Equinor’s Midstream, Marketing and Processing unit, she manages mid and back-office trading operations throughout the Americas. Areas of focus include onshore and waterborne operations, contract negotiations, deal handling and reconciliation throughout both North and South America.

During her career she has held various positions that have built her understanding of the midstream and downstream energy space, people development, process improvement, operational management, safety and sustainability, emergency response and business continuity. In her fifteen years at Equinor, Tanya has worked in three countries including Safety and Sustainability Manager of the South Riding Point Asset in The Bahamas, Asset Manager of all storage infrastructure within the Americas in Stamford, Connecticut and Stakeholder and Interface Manager on H2H Project, Stavanger Norway.

Prior to Equinor, Tanya worked as a General Field Engineer for Schlumberger Well Services at various locations with Venezuela and Mexico. Her time with Schlumberger was spent working both on and offshore rigs and platforms including a DESC engineer with IOC’s, PDVSA and PEMEX. In 2006, Tanya won a Performed by Schlumberger award for her role in Water Control Operations in the Boscan Field in Venezuela.

Tanya is a Certified Safety Manager with a Master’s in Chemical Engineering, Howard University.
