Kristi Cook

Kristi Cook is the Director of Global IT/OT Cybersecurity at Peabody, based in St. Louis, Missouri. With 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, Kristi brings a diverse background spanning communications, managed security services, defense, and the mining industry. She has special interest in securing operational technology and eager to see where AI takes technology in this space.

For the past 10 years, Kristi has focused her cybersecurity expertise within the mining sector, leading efforts to strengthen the security and resilience of critical IT and operational technology (OT) environments. Her experience provides a unique perspective on the evolving cybersecurity challenges facing industrial and mining organizations. In addition to her role at Peabody, Kristi serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Mining and Metals ISAC, where she contributes to industry collaboration, information sharing, and collective cybersecurity resilience across the mining and metals community.
