At Rockwell Automation, Steffen operates as the Heavy Industry Strategy & Marketing Manager across EMEA. He is responsible for setting growth and performance strategies, establishing and developing account relationships and expanding Rockwell Automation’s extensive portfolio in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Alongside his Diploma in Engineering/Mechatronics, Steffen has over 18 years of experience working in the automation industry, with five years of service within Rockwell Automation. Prior to his role at Rockwell Automation, Steffen worked at global plant engineering companies in international sales positions concentrated in the Chemical and Heavy Industry, with a focus on international sales across Europe and Asia Pacific.
Tom Shannon, EMEA Sales Manager at Sensia
With nearly 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, 10 of which have been at Rockwell Automation, Tom is currently leading direct reports and matrix sales teams to sell and deliver technical projects across Process Automation & Safety, Measurement Solutions, Lift Control and Digital Solutions. For the past two years, Tom has been operating as the regional Sales Manager for Sensia, a joint venture between Rockwell Automation and Schlumberger, as well as being responsible for the Sensia business in North Europe. Tom leads the sales team’s account management, business development and project pursuit activities while also pioneering the strategic direction. He also works closely with the Proposal and Business Unit engineering teams to deliver on customer service objectives.
