In this exclusive interview with Oil & Gas IQ, we speak with David Lloyd, IS Portfolio Manager at GDF Suez E&P UK about how his company is taking unified communications and rolling out the concept at a growing E&P company

David joined the UK O&G industry in 1996 after reading Geology at the University of Durham, as an Exploration TA and worked in both geoscience and IT for several years with ARCO, Wintershall and Highland Energy. David moved into IS management in 2003 with RWE Dea, deploying an integrated IS team, and worked in partnership on the development and operation of the Windermere, Cavendish, Topaz and Saturn fields.

Now working as Portfolio Manager with GDF SUEZ E&P UK, David is responsible for the coordination of business transformational ‘IS Partnership Projects’ helping the company grow to becoming Operator of the Juliet and Cygnus fields. In the course of his interview, David touches on:
