In this exclusive interview for Oil & Gas IQ, we speak with Dr Hooman Peimani, Research Fellow at the Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre about the current status of small-mid scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Dr Peimani specialises in energy security and has worked in a variety of senior capacities, most recently as the former Head of the Energy Security Division at the Energy Studies Institute, National University of Singapore.

Dr. Peimani has held a series of rich and diversified employment engagements in North America, Europe and West Asia including working for academic institutions and non-academic entities, including energy corporations, private and public organisations and national and international institutions such as UN agencies. He has extensive field experience in West and South Asia and the Asia Pacific region, including Central Asia, the Caucasus, Turkey and South East Asia.
